Tens Frame Flash Cards Freebie!

I like to use tens frame flashcards or quick images with my students. It facilitates good discussion and helps them look at numbers in a different way. I couldn't find the exact cards that I wanted, so I made my own. Click the button below to grab them for free!

Tens
Frames

This week, we are using them in a few different ways. We will use them on the document camera for number talks, they will paste one in their math journals with a sentence or two explaining what they see (ex. This is 5. I see 2 and 3.), and I am going to use some of them to depict the concept of 2 more and 2 less.

Let me know if you grab this freebie and how you plan to use it!

Thank you! I'm going to use them with number cards during circle discussion. I like the idea of using them in our math journals, too!

Thanks! These will work well for my kiddos that are still needing help with number sense and visuals/manipulatives for easy addition problems.

Thank you for the tens frames! I will use these next year to help my kids with number sense and adding and subtracting. They really help the kids with the teens numbers too!

Thanks for the freebie!
I am going to try to do the game "I Have; Who has" using ten frame flash cards. I want my kindergarteners to have a solid grasp on what each number looks like on a ten frame before we move on to harder concepts. :)

Thank you, I was looking for a simple set of ten frames to use as check cards for an activity I made and as a quick picture to put on my directions page.
